1. Delivery: Once payment is received, orders will normally be despatched within 2 working days and delivery of goods is between 1-3 working days from despatch date (see below). If due to exceptional circumstances whereby stock is unavailable at time of order and anticipated delivery is more than 6 weeks, we will advise you and give you the option of accepting a later delivery, or cancelling the order with a full refund.

2. Delivery Charges & Surcharges in New Zealand: North Island $10 South Island $14. Saturday, Urgent or Rural Area deliveries incur an additional surcharge of $5. Delivery is via a signature-required Standard Courier service. (Exception: Rural delivery)

3. Delivery Charges & Surcharges to overseas destinations: On receipt of orders, overseas customers will be contacted via telephone or email to confirm shipping requirements and costs. Orders will be processed only after confirmation with customer.

4. Returns/Exchanges within New Zealand only: We will accept returns in its original packaging with proof of purchase, of any unused item for an exchange or a full refund, and any defective goods for a replacement, provided that we are advised, strictly within 5 working days, of receipt of the item by:
a) Emailing us at returns@desertrain.co.nz, or
b) Sending us a fax to NZ +64 4 566 4185, or
c) Contacting us by telephone on NZ +64 4 566 4183 or +64 133 0628.
Goods must be received by us within 7 working days after notification of return.
Once we have the relevant information from you, we will arrange for the courier to collect the goods from you. A return shipping and administration charge of $15 is payable unless reason for return is a manufacturing defect.

5. Returns for Overseas Customers: We will accept returns in its original packaging with proof of purchase, of any unused item for an exchange or a full refund, and any defective goods for a replacement, provided that we are advised, strictly within 7 working days, of receipt of the item by email, fax or telephone as listed above in Item 3. Goods must be received by us within 14 working days after notification of return or exchange. Original shipping charges are, however, non-refundable and return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer, unless reason for return is a manufacturing defect.

6. Prices & Availability: All quoted prices include New Zealand Goods & Services tax of 12.5%. We reserve the right to alter prices up or down depending on the imposition or withdrawal of any other taxes or other external influences which affect product pricing. All order for products are subject to availability.
